We were all shocked and saddened this morning to hear the news of the passing of  Ron Lancaster. Ronnie seemed like one of those guys who we would never lose, he would just keep going forever, and you know, his story, his legacy, his impact on our province, our team and our lives means that he will live on. For me, I have memories of being a junior reporter in Regina and being so intimidated by the Little General upon my first meeting him, but I soon got over that after realizing what an ordinary, genuine man he was. I was a nobody in Regina media and it suprised me when Ronnie came to town last year, Wray brought him into the station, and when I re-introduced myself, Ron said...."Oh yah, Brent Loucks, I remember you. How's things??" One of the best perks of this job...meeting amazing people...being able to say I truly had a brush with greatness.
