- I really feel for the students and parents who were affected by the gun incident at Luther College High School in Regina on Tuesday.  Scary stuff.

I live down the street from Clark Griswold

I really hate to be Grinchly.

And I don't want to be the guy who craps on his neighbours.

But... just down the street from me... some guy has his house decked out in Christmas lights.

It's still more than 4 months until Christmas Day... and he has his lights up and on.

But that's not all.  While wandering through Costco the other day... what to my wondering eye should appear?  A giant toy soldier that is actually TALLER than me.

In my travels through the YouTube universe tonight, I've stumbled across this video of a woman in her 40s who is clearly drunk... and two young guys in their 20s who are out and about with a video camera.  The woman is hitting on one of the younger guys -- and it is all captured on video.

I really don't know how to feel about this video.

Today, I want to have the conversation no one wants to have... I want to dish the kind of talk no one wants to hear.

The 2008 Saskatchewan Roughriders aren't a very good football team.  They're just... lucky.

Now, before you burn me in effigy... let me finish.

They're lucky that their weekly gamble to only play one quarter of football (the fourth) pays off as often as it does.

They're lucky that even with their marquee players in traction they can still put points up on the board.

A Prairie Love Story - 33 Years in the Making

This is not the type of love story you'll ever see Hollywood write a movie about... but they should.

She was a self-admitted small-town "hayseed" who grew up in and around Esterhazy.

He was a farm boy from western Manitoba.

They met in the early 1970s.  She moved to Dauphin, Manitoba, where a number of her sisters had settled down and started families.  He grew up around Rorketon - not far down the road.
