But, funny thing is, I'm NEVER WARM in the summer!! I'm always freezing my butt off because everyone loves air conditioning so much! Ugh. I hate it.
I hear people endlessly complaining about how cold it is all winter, yet, as soon as it hits 20 degrees outside, people crank the A/C up so high (or down so low, depending on how you look at it) that I need to go outside to warm up. What gives? It's not that I don't appreciate a cool interior when it's hot outside. It's just that people take it too far. Do we really need it that cold? Can't we compromise a little bit? I don't want it turned off, just turned down a little.
And don't tell me to wear a sweater. I do have a cardigan or a shrug that I keep to cover my arms and provide some warmth when I'm inside. But part of enjoying summer means being able to wear capris and short sleeved shirts for the short time that I can. Even with my sweaters, I get cold. My hands and feet freeze after being in the office for an hour.
I don't expect that this will change. I've faced this in every office I've worked in, each car I've traveled in that isn't mine, and in other people's homes. But I haven't stopped resenting the fact that our summers are so short, yet I spend a large part of the season feeling cold. It sucks.

Perhaps you should take a minute and listen to your own argument. Many people, such as myself, are constantly warm. In this weather, I cannot simply dress-down at the office in order to be comfortable. And I would love to be cold all the time to the point where I would need to wear a sweater in the middle of July
re: 32 degree's and i am freezing
Your very first line says it all. Summer is all about heat and sun and their enjoyment. I do not like air conditioning, hardly ever use use it in the truck, don't have it in the house. We make do with fan's. Many years ago we spent a year in the philippines where heat mixes with moisture and results in bigtime humidity. Of course all the large buildings and department stores had AC. Into the cold, out into the heat, repeat this several times and you end up with the sniffles or a cold. The heat alway feels much hotter than it is after spending time caught within the confines of AC.
At work, a comfortable 68-75 degree's should suffice, WITHOUT the AC blowing directly on you. Anyways kiddo tough it out, summers almost over and I am back outside now (1214) with a cup of coffee and sitting in the 30 degree heat.
