The worms are driving me crazy! They're all over the place. I have three huge trees in my yard (which I didn't band - I'm a fairly new homeowner and it didn't occur to me earlier. Lesson learned!). Those silky webs are draped all over my yard and house. I can't walk to my garage without feeling them cling to my skin and hair. The front and side of my house are plastered with these worms - they're even on the front window and awning. When I opened the front door to get my mail the other day, three or four worms came swinging right into my house! Eewww!

I try to walk most places if I can. Right now it's the most unpleasant thing to do, because I'm spending the entire time dodging worms that are hanging and swinging over my head, dropping down in front of my eyes and frantically flicking off the ones that manage to land on me! I'm sure anyone who sees me walking down my tree-lined streets thinks I have a major problem - I'm jumping around erratically, swinging at things they can't see and swearing and cursing at nothing. No, I'm not crazy, I just really hate worms landing on me. Ugh.

Not only that, but the trees are getting all bare - it looks like it's winter again. I hope the worms go away soon and the leaves come back so I can actually enjoy the summer without looking like a crazy lady!
