It's a different type of partnership for Saskatchewan First Nations..deals in the oil business and in gambling.   5 of the province's First Nations chiefs recently ventured to Taiwan looking for oil sands investors. Chiefs met with representatives from the Petroleum Corporation who will invest $800 million  initially for oil sands exploration in the northwest. Another agreement looks at involving the Taiwanese in the success of the province's casinos.  The Star Phoenix reports its a memorandum of understanding for the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority to manage one and possibly two casinos in Taiwan. That deal could be worth upwards of $600 million dollars.
