Has not signed an MOU with Taiwan casinos

SIGA is clarifying its position.

Although the first nation gaming authority was said to have signed a memorandum of understanding to manage casinos in Taiwan, that is not in fact the case.

Word came from a First Nation consultant, but SIGA is clarifying that they haven't signed an MOU nor are in discussions with any Taiwan casino companies.

SIGA President and CEO Zane Hanson contends there was clearly a miscommunication from someone who doesn't necessarily represent SIGA.

Hanson goes on to say, although they're seeking new opportunities, it is here in Saskatchewan, not overseas.

Building continues at a new  Living Sky casino in Swift Current open this December and relaunched Painted Hand casino in Yorkton for February.
