Cup Dreams
Sports fans packed into the Sheraton Cavalier to have their picture taken with hockey's greatest prize and to hear from a champion assistant coach.
Plus, donations made at the event could go on benefitting charities in Saskatoon for years to come.
Donations are going towards the Saskatoon Community Foundation. Executive Director Trevor Forrest says donations are put into a trust account. He explains the money is then paid out to about 140 different charity groups around the city.
Todd McClellan was also on hand to share his story. He won the Stanley Cup as an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings. He's now head coach of the San Jose Sharks.
