The official application to build a hotel and condo tower on Saskatoon's River Landing will be tabled at a Meewasin Valley Authority meeting Friday. Lake Placid Developments is looking to build a complex on the riverfront. The MVA's Susan Lamb says this is an exciting time for Saskatoon but it doesn't mean Lake Placid will get a rubber stamp of approval. There are a number of conditions put on the recommendation before the board.

Well, I hope MVA approves

Well, I hope MVA approves it, but judging by the parking lot on the edge of the river by the University hospital, maybe the proposal will die. That is, if there is no parking lot taking up most of the prime river view. Hmmm, what does the MVA do??
