Regina Comedy Troupe Goes Under the TV Lights
Taping Pilot for National Cable Network
A local sketch comedy troupe is hoping for a shot at national stardom.
The Bionic Bannock Boys, an Aboriginal comedy group from Regina, already perform live across Canada. But now they're getting their shot at television exposure. They're taping a pilot for the cable network APTN.
Bannock Boys producer Cory Generoux says even though doing a TV show didn't happen overnight, in fact it's over a year in the making, it is an easy fit. He explains the pilot goes hand-in-hand with the live show.
