The price of attracting new people to work in the Saskatchewan Legislature appears to be costly.

The tally of moving expenses for political staff for the Saskatchewan Party adds up to $220,000.

In one instance a single move from Brandon, Manitoba to Regina cost $35,000.

Calling that outrageous, MLA Pat Atkinson contends that was not the practice when the NDP was in power.

But deputy Premier Ken Krawetz maintains the Government simply followed the existing rules of the Public Service Commission, regardless of being public servant or political staffer,no different he argues, to the NDP back in the day.

Krawetz is committing to review the existing policies and possibly introduce a cap on the amount of moving expenses one person can claim.
