Eberle Scores A Pair in Win Over Prince Albert
The Regina Pats were firing on all cylinders Sunday night, knocking off the road-weary Prince Albert Raiders 6-2 at the Brandt Centre in Regina. Jordan Eberle ked the way for the Pats, scoring a pair of power play goals, including the game winner at 14:52 of the second period. Prince Albert goaltender, and Saskatoon native, Garett Zemlak, had been a thorn in the Pats side during the previous two meetings of the teams, but gave up 6 goals on 38 shots in the loss. Dawson Guhle made 33 saves in the win for Regina.
Regina (9-9-2-0) extended their winning streak to three games, including the last two on home ice and have clawed back to the .500 mark. The Raiders (10-9-0-2), playing their second game in as many nights, have lost two straight on the road.
