A hugh sigh of relief for a future Olympian. Regina kayaker Kia Byers was in Saskatoon earlier this month for speaking engagements.

She also did some training along the river-bank and that's when someone broke into her car and stole two medals. One was from the Pan Am Games and the other was from the World Championships.

But good news- CTV is reporting Byers is getting her medals back. A couple found them hanging on a tree branch near the river.
