The Regina Pats saw their season-high four game snapped on Wednesday, as the Seattle Thunderbirds scored three second period goals enroute to a 5-2 at the Showare Centre in Kent, WA. Pats forward Garrett Mitchell opened the scoring mid-way through the first period, a shorthanded goal past Thunderbirds netminder Kyle Jaharaus. Seattle then scored five consectutive markers, including three in the second period, to seal the win.

Damien Ketlo allowed 5 goals on 38 shots in net for Regina. Kyle Jahraus stopped 26 of 28 for Seattle.

The Pats (14-12-3-0) continue on their 5 game, west coast road trip Friday in Everett.
