The Swift Current Broncos blasted the Saskatoon Blades 8-3 in WHL play at the Credit Union i-Plex on Saturday night.

The home team jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first period, while outshooting Saskatoon 18-9. Coda Gordon and Levi Bews had two goals each, while Brad Hoban and Colby Cave each had 3 assists for the Broncos.

Swift Current salvaged the second game of a home and home series after losing 7-3 to Saskatoon Friday night at Credit Union Centre.
 
The Blades now fall to sixth place in the WHL's eastern conference, one point back of the Kootenay Ice.
 
The Blades host Lethbridge Wednesday night at 7:05 at Credit Union Centre.
