Hurricanes down Pats 6-4

The Lethbridge Hurricanes defeated the Regina Pats 6-4 during their regular-season WHL game Friday night.

Regina had a 3-2 lead late in the middle frame, when the Hurricanes scored three goals in the final 2:24 of the period.

Brody Sutter scored at 17:36 and at 19:11, with Jaimen Yakubowksi scoring at 19:54. Brady Ramsay had a goal and two assists for the Hurricanes. Dyson Stevenson scored twice for Regina.

The seventh place Pats are clinging to a one-point lead over Brandon in the eastern conference.

The Pats visit Kootenay Saturday night.
